David Moyes praises Everton start

Everton manager claims that he wants to sign more new players following his side's 3-1 win over Aston Villa.

David Moyes has suggested that he could make some new signings in the coming days following his 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees recorded their second win of the season with an assured performance at Villa Park but their manager believes that his squad is still too small.

Moyes told BBC Sport: "I'd like to add to the squad if I could because it is a bit light. But if your squad's light then it gives the youngsters a chance and we are a club that gives youngsters a chance.

"Six points from two games is a good start, particularly when your first two games are Manchester United and Aston Villa away.

"We created quite a few chances before we scored and I was beginning to worry. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't score one or two more."

Everton are currently third in the Premier League, two games into the new season.
