Moyes 'angry' over transfer speculation

David Moyes has hit out at rumours that Jack Rodwell will transfer to Manchester United over the summer.

Last month it was reported that Alex Ferguson was finalising a deal to sign the 20-year-old midfielder for next season.

"A great club like Manchester United wouldn't [start rumours], and certainly a club like Everton wouldn't do it," Moyes said today. "So it has to be people in the middle who are doing it, not the two clubs."

Everton travel to Old Trafford tomorrow for an early kickoff.
