Everton manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that he takes the "blame" for his side's poor form in the Premier League.
The Merseyside outfit are six points above the relegation zone following a run of just three wins in their last 17 games.
"When the team gets a bad scoreline, I am the one who is responsible," the Daily Star quotes Martinez as saying.
"I don't look to blame anyone. Football is a game of errors and the responsibility is mine. I will always accept that. I am not going to change now."
In contrast, Everton have been impressive in the Europa League and they will take on Dynamo Kiev in the first leg of their last-16 clash this evening.
