Everton forward Steven Naismith has expressed his belief that Romelu Lukaku will want to prove a point to Chelsea when he meets his former club on the opposing side next weekend.
The Belgium international moved to Goodison Park this summer for £28m from the Blues, who sent the striker out on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Everton following his arrival back in 2011.
"I am sure there will be things he wants to prove to Chelsea," ESPN quotes Naismith as saying. "It was a big-money move to come here so I don't think he was a disappointment at Chelsea.
"There was a lot of quality players ahead of him at the time so we are just lucky we have him and hopefully next week he will have a good performance and really turn it on against them."
Lukaku failed to score one goal for Chelsea during his time at Stamford Bridge and made just one Premier League start.
