Magaye Gueye "very happy" with first Everton goal

Magaye Gueye has expressed his happiness at scoring his first goal for Everton.

The 21-year-old opened the scoring at Goodison Park against Sunderland earlier today, bringing an end to a drought that stretched back to 2010

"It felt great," he told BBC Sport. "I am very, very happy and dedicate this goal for my family because when I came here it was very difficult.

"But now I am more confident and feel good."

Gueye joined the Toffees in 2010 from French club Strasbourg.
