Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has insisted that the club must get off to a good start next season if they are to fight for a place in Europe.
The Toffees, who have struggled to get off the mark in recent years, open their next campaign at home to Manchester United on Saturday, August 18.
"First we have to start the season well, second, my aim is to win something like the FA Cup or the League Cup and to finish in the Europa League," Fellaini told evertontv.
"I have been here for four years, so of course I want to win a trophy. We need very good preparation because it will be difficult against Manchester United.
"I have been at Everton for four years and each time we have started badly, so I hope this year we start well."
Fellaini joined the Merseysiders from Standard Liege in 2008 for a club-record £15m.
