Everton are reportedly lining up Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez to replace David Moyes should the current boss move on from Goodison Park this summer.

Everton are reportedly lining up Roberto Martinez to replace David Moyes as manager.

The Blues have targeted the Wigan Athletic boss should Moyes end his 11-year stay at Goodison Park this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Moyes's contract is up in the summer and the Scot has said that he will wait until the end of the season before making a decision on his future.

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright reportedly has Martinez at the top of his shortlist should Moyes decide to move on.

Wigan knocked Everton out of the FA Cup last week.
