Everton are set to hold more talks with three final candidates for the vacant managerial position, according to a report.
The Premier League club have been searching for a new manager since firing Rafael Benitez after their defeat against Norwich City earlier this month.
After just 200 days in charge, the former Liverpool boss left the Toffees sat 16th in the Premier League, with just four points between them and the relegation zone.
According to Sky Sports News, Everton are now set to hold further talks with the final candidates, Vitor Pereira, Frank Lampard and current caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson.
The club owner Farhad Moshiri is set to fly into London in order to have these discussions as he looks to determine which man will lead the Toffees for the second half of the season.
Pereira has been in contention for the job twice before in the past, while Lampard is looking for his first role since being fired by Chelsea in January 2021, and the Englishman is understood to be the leading candidate right now.
