The Premier League has today revealed the fixture list for the 2022-23 campaign, which for Everton begins with a home fixture against Chelsea, Frank Lampard's former club.
The Toffees only secured their top-flight status for another year during the final week of last season, and they start the new campaign with one of the clubs that they defeated during the run-in.
As far as Merseyside derbies are concerned, the first takes place at Goodison Park on September 3, with the short trip to Anfield scheduled for the middle of February.
Lampard will be satisfied with the team's run-in with champions Manchester City the only club of last season's top seven to feature during their final eight fixtures.
