Drenthe reveals Feyenoord plans

Everton loanee Royston Drenthe has revealed that he would like to return to boyhood club Feyenoord within the next three years.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Goodison Park from Real Madrid, having joined the Spaniards from Feyenoord in 2007.

Drenthe, whose contract expires in the summer, is hoping for a return to Rotterdam in the near future.

"I certainly will [play there] once again," he told NUSport. "They're doing well again.

"When? At least by 2015. I still want to have some explosiveness on the pitch. I won't return to sit on the bench."

Drenthe made 29 appearances for Feyenoord.
