Sylvain Distin disappointed with Everton defeat

Everton defender Sylain Distin has admitted that he is disappointed with the team's defeat to Fulham in the Capital One Cup.

The Toffees were beaten 2-1 in the third round of the competition at Craven Cottage on Tuesday night.

"It's difficult to think of any positives at the moment," Distin told the Liverpool Echo. "We're just feeling disappointment right now. I feel like it was a game we could and should have won."

Everton continue their Premier League campaign on Monday when they travel to Newcastle United.
