Preview: Everton vs. Oldham Athletic

Everton vs. Oldham Athletic

Oldham Athletic will attempt to pull off another shock result when they travel to Everton in their fifth-round replay in the FA Cup on Tuesday.

A late goal from Matt Smith gained Oldham a trip to Goodison Park following the clash at Boundary Park on February 16, but the Premier League outfit will enter the match as the firm favourites.

The League One side have already seen off Liverpool in the competition, but boss Paul Dickov has since departed with the club hovering just above the relegation zone.

Everton enter the match having won just one of their last five in all competitions, with their last win in the league coming at the end of January.

Toffees boss David Moyes is expected to recall Kevin Mirallas to his starting side, but Marouane Fellaini could start the match on the bench.

Oldham, meanwhile, have no fresh injury concerns following their 1-0 win over Portsmouth at the weekend, which was their third win in their last five matches in all competitions.

The winner of this tie will face Wigan Athletic at home in the sixth round.
