Everton's Leon Osman delighted with FA Cup progress

Leon Osman says that he is relieved Everton have progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup with victory over Cheltenham Town away from home.

Everton midfielder Leon Osman has expressed his delight at his side's 5-1 victory over Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road on Monday.

Osman was among the goalscorers for the Toffees, who progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup with the win.

"You need to go through," he told BBC Sport. "Each round is important and we had to get the job done.

"At the start of each half they came out with fight and make it difficult so the early goals were important.

"The draw is not great, you want to be at home."

Everton will take on either Sunderland or Bolton Wanderers in the fourth round.
