Moyes: 'Rodwell will not make Euro 2012'

Everton boss David Moyes has suggested that Toffees midfielder Jack Rodwell will not be fit to represent England in the European Championships.

The 21-year-old made his national team debut against Spain last autumn, and was expected to battle for a Euro 2012 place.

Moyes has confirmed that the midfielder has suffered a recurrence of a hamstring injury, however, and will be sent to Germany for treatment.

"We are trying to see when he can go to Germany for treatment. I think it would be hard for Jack to represent England. He would have to get back playing regularly," Moyes told reporters.

Rodwell has two England caps to his name.
