England boss Roy Hodgson to name Aaron Lennon in squad today?

Lennon to get England recall?

Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon is reportedly expected to get the nod from England boss Roy Hodgson when the former West Bromwich Albion manager names his squad for the Three Lions' remaining 2014 World Cup qualifiers today.

The 25-year-old, who has not featured in an England shirt for two years, is believed to have impressed Hodgson over the start of the season and his intentions were confirmed when he watched Lennon in Spurs' 3-2 win over Manchester United at the weekend, according to the Daily Star.

It is believed that Hodgson has opted for Lennon over Liverpool winger Stewart Downing and Sunderland's Adam Johnson, who is currently nursing a thigh injury.

Lennon, who last played for England in a 0-0 draw with Algeria in the 2010 World Cup, has appeared in all six Tottenham matches under new manager Andre Villas-Boas.
