Netherlands boss Van Gaal has a number of big decisions to make when it comes to his starting side for Tuesday's contest with Qatar.

Memphis Depay has now featured twice off the bench in the tournament, as he builds his fitness following an injury, but the Barcelona attacker could come in for a start here.

Jurrien Timber will again be hoping to get the nod over Matthijs de Ligt at the back, while there is likely to be a change in midfield, with Steven Berghuis bidding to replace Teun Koopmeiners.

Gakpo has now scored twice in Qatar, and the PSV Eindhoven attacker is expected to start behind a front two of Memphis and Steven Bergwijn, with Davy Klaassen dropping down to the bench.

As for Qatar, Mohammed Muntari's goal off the bench against Senegal could earn the forward a spot in the starting XI here.

Abdulaziz Hatem also made a positive impression as a second-half substitute last time out, so it would not be a surprise to see him come into the side on Tuesday.

Almoez Ali is likely to join Muntari in the final third of the field, with the former looking to add to the 42 goals that he has already scored for the national side.

There will also be another start in a deeper area for the captain Hassan Al-Haydos, who boasts an impressive record of 36 goals in 170 appearances for his country.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Ecuador vs. Senegal (Tuesday, 3.00pm)

Ecuador will be expected to name a strong side once again as they eye a spot in the knockout rounds of the World Cup against Senegal.

Nevertheless, they could have to do without star man and top scorer Enner Valencia, who was stretchered off in the 1-1 draw against the Netherlands putting his availability for the tie in serious doubt.

If Valencia is not available, Ecuador have a decision to make in terms of who will come in to aid their endeavours offensively. Right now, it is looking like a toss-up between Brighton & Hove Albion forward Jeremy Sarmiento or Imbabura man Kevin Rodriguez to fill the void.

For Senegal, they have more or less a full deck of cards to play with heading into their final group A match against Ecuador.

Despite being rocked at the beginning of the tournament with the injury of Sadio Mane, they have quality in attack and defence that will be difficult for Ecuador to break through.

Kalidou Koulibaly and Abdou Diallo are certain to start in central defence, while Ismaila Sarr and Krepin Diatta will provide the width for strikers Boulaye Dia and Famara Diedhiou.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Iran vs. USA (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Iran will be without the services of Alireza Jahanbakhsh in their final game of Group B as the former Brighton & Hove Albion man received a second yellow card of the tournament after a high-footed challenge on Wales' Chris Mepham during the closing stages of proceedings on Friday afternoon.

Star man Azmoun is a doubt for Team Melli after visibly struggling throughout his 68 minutes on the pitch against Wales, although Queiroz may risk the attacker from the start on Tuesday considering how much quality he adds to the side.

Alireza Beiranvand sat out of the Wales clash due to concussion protocol after a nasty head injury in Iran's first match of the World Cup with England, but the 30-year-old is available to return in this vital fixture if Queiroz decides to drop Hossein Hosseini, who kept a clean sheet on Friday.

USA have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Tuesday's match, with the large majority of fan and media attention focused on the lack of gametime for Borussia Dortmund's Giovanni Reyna, who has only seen 15 minutes of World Cup action so far.

Haji Wright replaced Josh Sargent in the USA starting XI against England in the only change from the Wales match, with the striker position for the Americans yet to find a consistent occupier as Berhalter attempts to discover his side's clinical touch.

Leeds United's Brenden Aaronson has played his part off the bench in the last two matches and looks set for a similar role on Tuesday with a midfield trio of Adams, McKennie and Yunus Musah impressing massively so far in this World Cup.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Wales vs. England (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Wales number one Hennessey will take his place on the suspension step for this one following his red card against Iran, opening the door for Danny Ward to start in between the sticks after a period of notable improvement at Leicester City.

Page did not pick up any new injury concerns in the loss to Iran, where Joe Allen was able to come off the bench following his hamstring injury, but the Swansea City man was largely at fault for Cheshmi's long-range effort with his poor clearance.

National team heroes Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey were practically anonymous in their matchday two showing, but Page is unlikely to consider dropping the duo for such an important fixture.

Daniel James and Brennan Johnson should be considered for places, though, as Kieffer Moore provides a much-needed physical presence in the final third.

As for England, Southgate could be working with a fully-fit squad for Tuesday's crunch clash after welcoming James Maddison back to training from a knee injury, and he is facing plenty of difficult selection dilemmas.

Kyle Walker's return to fitness could see the Manchester City man return to the right-hand side over Kieran Trippier, in spite of calls for Southgate to introduce Trent Alexander-Arnold into the fray.

Southgate was reluctant to bring on Phil Foden for Mason Mount in the number 10 role on Friday, but with Bukayo Saka enduring an off night against the USA, Foden could push for a start out wide.

Harry Kane is still waiting for his first non-penalty goal in England colours in 2022, but there is virtually no chance of the skipper losing his place in the side here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
