Oxlade-Chamberlain starts at Wembley

Roy Hodgson has handed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain his full England debut in this evening's friendly with Belgium at Wembley.

The 18-year-old Arsenal winger, who made his first appearance for the Three Lions as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Norway last week, is expected to start on the right side of midfield.

Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck will lead the England line, supported by Old Trafford teammate Ashley Young.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen, Fulham forward Moussa Dembele and Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet all return for Belgium, having sat out the 2-2 draw with Montenegro last weekend.

Eden Hazard and Jan Vertonghen also start for the visitors.

Starting XIs in full:

England: Hart; Johnson, Cole, Cahill, Terry; Gerrard, Milner, Parker, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Young, Welbeck

Belgium: Mignolet; Gillet, Kompany, Vermaelen, Vertonghen; Fellaini, Witsel, Hazard; Mertens, Mirallas, Dembele
