Bulgarian FA fined by UEFA

The Bulgarian Football Association have been fined £34,000 for racist chanting in a match against England last September.

A large majority of the chanting was aimed at England and Manchester United winger Ashley Young.

The English Football Association immediately announced that they had made UEFA aware of the situation following the conclusion of England's 3-0 win in Sofia.

Officials from the Bulgarian FA later denied those accusations, but UEFA have been provided with enough evidence to issue a charge.
