Sterling named in England Under-21 squad

Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling has been handed a call-up to Stuart Pearce's England Under-21 squad for their playoff double header against Serbia.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend has also been included, along with Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell.

Meanwhile, Nathan Delfouneso, Marvin Sordell and Connor Wickham have been named in attack.

The much-coveted Wilfried Zaha also takes his place in Pearce's 26-man squad.
