Gareth Southgate names England squad for friendlies

Gareth Southgate names his England squad for the upcoming international friendlies with Germany and Brazil.

Gareth Southgate has named his England squad for the upcoming international friendlies with Germany and Brazil.

England's official Twitter account had already revealed that Chelsea duo Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek had been named in the squad alongside Liverpool's Joe Gomez.

The rest of the party has now been confirmed, with Manchester United's Ashley Young also receiving a call-up.

Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Winks has also been selected after his impressive run of form, while Danny Rose is also back in the squad after recovering from injury.

England will welcome Germany to Wembley on November 10, before hosting Brazil four days later as the Three Lions build towards next summer's World Cup in Russia.
