Matt Le Tissier has spoken of his delight upon learning that Adam Lallana has kept his place in the England starting lineup for tomorrow night's friendly against Germany.
The Southampton midfielder appeared for the first time against Chile and did enough to impress manager Roy Hodgson, who confirmed earlier today that the 25-year-old would feature from the outset against the Germans.
Reflecting on the news, former England and Saints attacker Le Tissier has described his inclusion as "brilliant".
"Brilliant news that Adam Lallana keeps his place for tomorrow night. I'll be there to cheer him and the team on #comeonengland," he wrote on Twitter.
Le Tissier himself made eight appearances for the Three Lions.
