Stephen Harper "proud" of Fraser Forster's England chance

Former Newcastle United goalkeeper Stephen Harper has expressed his pride at Celtic's Fraser Forster being given his England chance.

The 25-year-old is said to have been picked by manager Roy Hodgson to start in tonight's friendly against Chile at Wembley.

Harper wrote on Twitter: "Very proud of Fraser Forster who makes his England debut tonight. A great lad with a fantastic attitude who really deserves it!! #Hightower"

Forster will have been picked ahead of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart and Norwich City's John Ruddy.
