England, France to go ahead on Tuesday

Tuesday's international friendly between England and France will go ahead at Wembley despite the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, the French Football Federation has confirmed.

It had been thought that the fixture in London would be cancelled following the multiple terror attacks in the French capital on Friday evening, which saw more than 120 people lose their lives.

Late on Friday, a spokesman for the Football Association revealed that talks with the French Federation would take place over the weekend to determine whether the match would go ahead.

Despite calls for the game to be suspended, as it stands, the clash will go ahead, with Wembley hosting the build-up match to Euro 2016.

French president Francois Hollande deemed Friday's attacks, committed by Islamic State, an "act of war".
