Chambers: 'England start was great experience'

Calum Chambers has said that it was "an honour" to make his full England debut in Thursday night's 5-0 victory over European minnows San Marino.

The Arsenal right-back had previously featured as a second-half substitute in England's 1-0 win over Norway in a friendly last month, but played from the start at Wembley in midweek as Roy Hodgson's side continued their 100% start in Group E.

"It's an honour to play for my country and a great experience for me to get a start," he told theFA.com. "Hopefully there will be more to come.

"I'm really enjoying it. All the lads have been really welcoming and the staff have been great.

"The training is going really well, I'm just going to try my hardest in training and in games when I get the opportunities."

England's next game sees them travel to Estonia on Sunday, a game which can be followed live on Sports Mole from 4pm.
