Anzhi Makhachkala are keen to secure the services of England manager Fabio Capello after Euro 2012.
The Italian will step down from his position after next year's tournament in Poland and the Ukraine.
Caretaker manager Roberto Carlos is thought to have put the 65-year-old's name forward for the job with the Russian club, according to insidefutbol.com.
Capello took charge of the England team in December 2007.
