Theo Walcott yet to witness racism incidents at Euro 2012

Walcott: 'No racism incidents'

England and Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has claimed that the Three Lions squad have not witnessed any cases of racial abuse during their time in Poland and Ukraine so far.

The issue of racism was brought to light in the few months leading up to the tournament, prompting Walcott's family to refrain from travelling to Eastern Europe.

"I've not seen any problems at our games," Walcott told BBC Radio One. "It's just a shame that [my family] are not going to come."

While England have not fallen victim to any racism problems, UEFA did confirm yesterday that they are investigating cases of alleged racist chants during two matches in the competition.
