UEFA have commenced disciplinary proceedings against the Bulgarian Football Union over the racist abuse hurled during England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Bulgaria last month.
During the Three Lions' 3-0 win in Bulgaria, racist chants were reportedly heard from the crowds with flares being thrown onto the pitch.
"A hearing will be held on October 13 and, after completion of the paperwork, a verdict will be announced," a UEFA spokeswoman told BBC Sport.
A decision regarding the incident is expected to be made by October 15.
