Terry in, Ferdinand out of England squad

Chelsea captain John Terry has been included in Roy Hodgson's England squad for Euro 2012 this summer.

However, there was no place among the 23-man party for Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand.

Recent reports had claimed that the pair were unable to settle their differences after Terry had been accused of racially abusing Ferdinand's brother Anton in October of last year. Terry will stand trial for that alleged offence in July.

The exclusion of Ferdinand could lead the 33-year-old to call time on his international career, having amassed 81 appearances for the Three Lions since making his debut in 1997.

The complete England squad for the tournament can be found here.
