Dundee are bottom of the table.

Boss Jim McIntyre is focusing on Dundee's final two Ladbrokes Premiership games of the year before he looks to bolster his squad.

The Taysiders' comprehensive 3-0 defeat by Celtic at Parkhead on Saturday meant the Dark Blues have lost three games in succession and remain bottom of the table after 19 fixtures.

The result also left the Dens Park side three points behind fellow strugglers St Mirren, who won 1-0 against Motherwell at Fir Park – their first victory in five matches.

Dundee are at home to both Livingston and St Johnstone before the end of the month, when the January transfer window opens, and it is the hunt for six points which concerns McIntyre.

He said: "Obviously the transfer window is going to be important for all the clubs at the bottom.

"It is an opportunity to try to get players in to help the players that we already have.

"My whole thought process is we have two huge games coming up at home to try to make sure we are picking up points.

"Those two games will be huge for us.

"What St Mirren do will not be of concern, it is all about what we do and we have got to make sure we continue to do that, just think about ourselves."
