West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson has admitted that he is close to agreeing a move for Dundee United star Scott Allan.
The Baggies have agreed a £400,000 fee with the Scottish club and Hodgson has stated that talks are underway.
"Scott's one of the most exciting talents in Scottish football. I hope we can persuade him his future lies here. He'll certainly come into the first-team squad straight away," Hodgson told The Sun.
Allan has made nine appearances for Dundee United this season.
