Midfielder Richie Wellens has signed a short-term contract to re-join his former club Doncaster Rovers.
The 33-year-old had been training with the club despite interest from several other teams.
It has now been confirmed that the former Leicester City man will return to the Keepmoat Stadium on a short-term basis.
The former Manchester United trainee scored nine times in 86 appearances for Rovers between 2007 and 2009.
