Richie Wellens reveals Doncaster Rovers offer

Richie Wellens has revealed that he has been offered a contract by his former club Doncaster Rovers.

The 33-year-old midfielder has recently been training with Rovers following his release from Leicester City.

"I've got a contract offer but it depends on investment coming into the club," Wellens told BBC Sport.

"If that materialises, then great but it hasn't at the moment There are four or five clubs interested and waiting to see what happens."

Wellens joined Doncaster in 2007 before leaving for Leicester two years later.
