Preston North End accept Derby County bid for Paul Coutts?

Derby County are reportedly in talks with Preston North End midfielder Paul Coutts.

The 23-year-old former Scotland Under-21s international made 46 appearances for the Lancashire club last season, scoring two goals.

Derby have had a bid of £150,000 for Coutts accepted, but Rams boss Nigel Clough wants the player to take a pay cut in order to join, according to The Mirror.

Preston finished 15th in League One last season, while Derby were 12th in the Championship table.
