Mason Bennett's loan at Chesterfield has been ended early by parent club Derby County.
The 17-year-old's one-month loan was due to end after this Saturday's League Two match against Hartlepool but he has now returned to the Rams a few days early.
"Would like to wish @ChesterfieldFC all the best for the rest of the season in their title push, can't wait to get back to @dcfcofficial," the young striker tweeted today.
Bennett made six appearances for the Spireites, who are currently in the third automatic promotion place with five games of the season remaining.
He is Derby's youngest-ever player after making his debut in October 2011 aged 15 years and 99 days old. Since then he has made 31 appearances for the Rams and scored twice.
