Derby County complete Johnny Russell signing

Derby County have completed the signing of Dundee United striker Johnny Russell.

The 23-year-old Scot has penned a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee with the Championship club.

"We're delighted to sign Johnny and his goalscoring exploits north of the border are something we've been aware of for some time," manager Nigel Clough told Derby's official website.

"He's been prolific in the last few years and from what we've seen of him we believe he can transfer that form to the Championship."

Russell scored 20 goals in all competitions for United last season.
