Derby County given permission by Chelsea to discuss move for Kasey Palmer?

Derby County have reportedly been given permission by Chelsea to discuss a potential move for Kasey Palmer.

The England Under-21s midfielder was loaned out to Derby for the second half of last season and helped the club to reach the Championship playoff semi-finals.

Palmer also played for Huddersfield Town in the Championship playoff final the season before, leading to their promotion to the Premier League.

According to Sky Sports News, Derby have opened discussions with the 21-year-old over a possible return to the Rams.

The report adds that Palmer is yet to find out whether he is wanted at Chelsea next season, while Norwich City are also monitoring the player.
