Richard Keogh delighted by Derby County win over Wolverhampton Wanderers

Derby skipper Richard Keogh believes that Sunday's 5-0 thrashing of Wolves was the team's best performance of the season.

Derby County captain Richard Keogh has claimed that Saturday's 5-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers was the team's best display of the season so far.

The Rams moved to the top of the Championship table over the weekend thanks to a comprehensive victory at Pride Park.

Keogh now wants his teammates to replicate the high level of performance that they showed against Wolves for the remainder of the campaign.

"The performance on Saturday was really good from every single player and I believe it was our best of the season," he told the club's official website. "We were professional and the goals we scored were quality.

"That performance is the benchmark for us now; we know we are capable of producing that type of display. Everything we are about; we showed. We had quality on the ball, patience and tempo."

Derby are next in action on November 22 when they make the trip to Watford in the league.
