Paris Saint-Germain outcast Yohan Cabaye open to Alan Pardew reunion

Yohan Cabaye hints that he is open to leaving Paris Saint-Germain to reunite with former Newcastle boss Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace.

Yohan Cabaye has hinted that he is open to reuniting with former Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew in the future as his place at Paris Saint-Germain remains unclear.

The Frenchman has repeatedly expressed his discontent at failing to earn a regular spot in Laurent Blanc's first team.

The 29-year-old, who has been linked with a summer switch to Arsenal, moved to Parc des Princes in 2014 after spending three years at St James' Park.

Cabaye's position in the French national side for Euro 2016 could be under threat due to his lack of playing time on the pitch, and the player himself has suggested that he could link up with Pardew at Crystal Palace.

"It went very well with him," Le Parisien quotes Cabaye as saying. "I enjoyed it with him and he does a great job. The most important thing is to find fun. If I have to make that decision, it will be a pleasure to see my old coach."

Cabaye made 13 starts in Ligue 1 last season.
