Palace ease past West Brom

Crystal Palace eased past West Bromwich Albion 3-1 at Selhurst Park this afternoon.

Debutants Joe Ledley and Thomas Ince both scored to put the home side in a commanding position at the break.

However Thievy Bifouma reduced the deficit moments after the restart when he made an immediate impact following his introduction at half time.

Marouane Chamakh calmly slotted in from the penalty spot to restore the two-goal advantage on 69 minutes.

Glenn Murray was introduced to a huge applause from the home side as the striker made his first appearance of the season following his recovery from a long-term injury.
