Tony Pulis: 'Keeping Crystal Palace up would be my best achievement'

Pulis: 'Survival would top everything'

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has said that avoiding relegation from the Premier League this season would surpass everything else that he has achieved in the game.

The former Stoke City boss took charge at Selhurst Park in November and has moved the Eagles to within touching distance of their relegation rivals.

Despite reaching the FA Cup final in 2011 and securing promotion from the Championship with the Potters, Pulis believes that the circumstances at Palace mean that survival would be just as significant on his CV.

"When you look at the structure of the football club and where it is, then this will be as big as an achievement as anything I've ever achieved," he told the Daily Star.

Palace host Stoke on Saturday and are one point behind West Ham United in 17th.
