Preview: Crystal Palace vs. Cardiff City

Sports Mole previews Saturday's home clash for Crystal Palace against Cardiff City.

Crystal Palace could potentially pull themselves out of the relegation zone of the Premier League table if they snatch a victory over Cardiff City this weekend.

Tony Pulis recorded his first win as manager of the Eagles courtesy of a single goal from Marouane Chamakh against West Ham United on Tuesday.

The former Stoke City boss failed to grab a win in his managerial debut for Palace following a 1-0 defeat to Norwich City last weekend, but two victories on the bounce can boost the club's survival hopes.

Two of their three wins this season have come on home turf, while Malky Mackay's Cardiff side have won just once on the road this season following six fixtures.

The Bluebirds began the season positively, but they have not secured a victory since their South Wales derby win over Swansea City on November 3.

Despite failing to find the net in a goalless draw with Stoke City in midweek, Mackay could stick with Frazier Campbell up front.

For the home side, Palace could start with Cameron Jerome and Chamakh leading the line.
