Crystal Palace lineup vs. Aston Villa: Predicted XI for Premier League clash including Yeremy Pino debut decision

Pino eligibility and Sarr hot streak: Predicted Palace XI vs. Villa

Crystal Palace new boy Yeremy Pino is eligible to make his Premier League debut in Sunday's battle with Aston Villa at Villa Park.

The Eagles completed the signing of the Spanish attacker from Villarreal before 12pm on Friday, which is the cut-off point for registration for the next round of Premier League fixtures.

As a result, Pino should be part of the matchday squad in the West Midlands, but his lack of preparation time means he will likely occupy a spot on the bench before a possible second-half cameo.

Palace head to Villa Park just three days after sealing Conference League qualification with a goalless draw in Fredrikstad, but Glasner does not have the luxury of rotating his resources right now, so all nine players who completed 90 minutes in that game will be required again.

The only alterations should see Borna Sosa and Daichi Kamada drop out for Tyrick Mitchell and Justin Devenny respectively, although Pino is of course an alternative option to the latter.

Among the Eagles players who will be granted no rest, Ismaila Sarr has remarkably either scored or assisted in each of his six starts against Aston Villa in all competitions, managing seven goals of his own while setting up three more.

Oliver Glasner is confident that Chris Richards will shake off an ankle concern to feature, but Will Hughes is more of a doubt, while Odsonne Edouard (Achilles), Caleb Kporha (back), Matheus Franca (groin), Eddie Nketiah (thigh), Cheick Doucoure (knee) and Chadi Riad (knee) will play no part.

Crystal Palace possible starting lineup:

Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Wharton, Lerma, Mitchell; Sarr, Devenny; Mateta
