Crystal Palace have announced the signing of highly-rated attacker Yeremy Pino from Villarreal.
Twenty-two-year-old Pino has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Selhurst Park and joins the Eagles in a deal believed to worth £21m plus £5m in add-ons.
The deal almost represents a club-record transfer for Palace, with the fee falling just £1m short of the £27m signing of Christian Benteke in August 2016.
Pino will wear the No.10 shirt for Palace which has been vacated by Eberechi Eze following his £67.5m transfer to Arsenal last weekend.
He becomes Oliver Glasner’s third signing of the summer after left wing-back Borna Sosa and goalkeeper Walter Benitez.

Pino fulfilling Premier League dream with Palace transfer
Commenting on his arrival at Selhurst Park, Pino told Palace’s official website: “I’m very happy to be here. It is a dream of mine to come to the Premier League, to a historic club like Crystal Palace, and I hope that I can help the team.”
Chairman Steve Parish added: “It’s fantastic news that Yeremy - an exciting young talent, with already such an impressive record in domestic, European and international football - has chosen us as the next step in his career.
“With an exciting season ahead for the club, competing on multiple fronts, he is a player whose talents Palace fans will particularly appreciate - and I look forward to seeing him step out at Selhurst Park.”
La Liga side Villarreal have also released a statement, confirming the transfer and paying tribute to Pino for his five-year of service to the club.
“The club is grateful for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment throughout his long and successful journey as a Villarreal player,” the statement read.
“Above all, for the pride and passion with which he has always represented the Yellow Submarine. For all these reasons, the club wishes him the very best of luck in his new professional chapter.”
The number 10.

Pino looking forward to Conference League football with Palace
Pino leaves Villarreal after making 170 first-team appearances across all competitions since and including his senior debut in 2020, scoring 22 goals and registering 23 assists as a key player for the Spanish side.
The 15-cap Spain international won the Europa League with Villarreal in 2020-21 and he will be hoping to help his new club Palace go all the way in the Conference League this season.
It remains to be seen as to whether Pino will be available to make his debut for Palace in Sunday night’s Premier League away clash with Aston Villa.
