Report: Chris Coleman holds talks with Crystal Palace

Report: Coleman in talks with Palace

Wales manager Chris Coleman has reportedly been contacted by Premier League outfit Crystal Palace over the managerial vacancy at Selhurst Park.

The former Championship outfit have been in the hunt for a new boss following the departure of Ian Holloway last week, eight games into the 2013-14 campaign.

It is understood that Coleman, who is said to be interested in the job, has held talks with Palace officials over a return to club management, according to The Telegraph.

The 43-year-old's contract with the Wales national team is due to expire next month, and reports have suggested that both parties are unsure on whether to agree a new deal.

Despite speaking with Coleman, it is understood that Palace are considering a number of candidates, including former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis.
