Former Wimbledon, Crystal Palace and Brentford chairman Ron Noades has died at the age of 76 following a battle with lung cancer.
Noades, who was diagnosed with the illness in November 2012, was involved with football for over three decades.
"The club's condolences go to his family and friends at this time," read a statement on Brentford's official website.
Noades was in charge of Crystal Palace during one of the most successful periods in the club's history as they gained promotion to the old First Division in 1989 before reaching the FA Cup final one year later.
