Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer has said that he is delighted to have secured a reunion with defender Jairo Riedewald.
On Monday, Palace revealed that the Netherlands international had penned a three-year deal after joining from Ajax, where he has previously worked with De Boer.
The 20-year-old arrives at Selhurst Park with a growing reputation, and De Boer has indicated that he believes the versatile defender will make an impact at the Premier League side.
The manager told the club's official website: "Jairo Riedewald is a player I know well through my time at Ajax and I'm glad that he's now coming to join us at Crystal Palace.
"He will be an excellent addition to our squad, Jairo is a young player but already has a lot of experience. I know he is looking forward to playing in the Premier League."
Riedewald leaves Ajax having made 81 appearances for the first team in all competitions.
