Manchester City teenager George Evans has moved to Crewe Alexandra on loan until February.
The 18-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for City since signing a professional contract last year but will hope for some first-team action in League One with Crewe.
He has represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level.
Crewe are currently in the bottom three and next up for them is a home game against Bradford City on Saturday.
