Liam Nolan sidelined for Crewe Alexandra

Crewe Alexandra midfielder Liam Nolan is expected to be out of action until December due to an ankle injury.

The Northern Irishman suffered the problem last week during an Under-21 match against Swansea City.

Crewe are yet to confirm how long Nolan will be sidelined for, but he could miss up to seven fixtures for the League One strugglers, according to Sky Sports News.

The Railwaymen continue their league campaign on Tuesday when they entertain Peterborough United.
