Crawley Town sign former Manchester United trainee John Cofie

Former Manchester United trainee John Cofie joins League One side Crawley Town on a one-month deal.

Crawley Town have signed former Manchester United trainee John Cofie on a one-month deal.

The 22-year-old striker failed to make a senior appearance for the Red Devils during his time at Old Trafford.

Cofie was loaned out to Royal Antwerp, Sheffield United and Notts County before being released by United in 2013.

He has recently spent time with Barnsley and Norwegian side Molde.

Cofie could make his Crawley debut on Saturday when they host Gillingham in League One.
