Crawley Town defender Joe Walsh has joined MK Dons on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has moved to the League One side with a view to making the switch permanent when he becomes a free agent in the summer.
Walsh has scored eight goals in 110 games for Crawley since 2012.
"We've known about Joe for a while and I was made up when I found out we could get it done," MK Dons boss Karl Robinson told the club's official website.
"He's out of contract in the summer but we've been given the chance to get him on loan immediately. He will provide great cover at both left-back and in the centre."
Walsh could make his debut on Tuesday night when the Dons host Chesterfield in the league.
